my phone`d been ringing non stop since i reached home before 11pm.
finally there`s time to blog!
yes, YF`s back from KL!!!
and since last night.
i bet you people miss me right?
must be!
i knew it!!
just admit it!
LOL!
people had been asking me about how this trip went since i was back last night. here to share with you guys then:
people who went: winnie, me, wq and lao da...
this trip was short but enjoyable; tiring but worthwhile; simple but cool i would say! we had a tour guide this round too, a malaysian local and wq`s friend, just like we had wick kor during our HK trip. when i first saw him, i was a little astonished. he looks like del, especially from the back view. and i called him lao da since he was the leader amongst us and he`s the eldest. he`d been a diligent and responsible driver for our trip. thanks to him that many places we wanted to get to are made accessible and possible! =)
on the 1st day, we met up with lao da in JB since he resides there. he fetched us at one of the petrol station and filled up his car`s petrol tank at another before we were set for the long journey. reached KL after 4 hours away from JB. drove around in circles before we finally found the "ulu-ulu" hotel. checked in and off to lunch we went! the guys` treat. visited sungei wang 1st and berjaya times square next where we witnessed the scary indoor theme park. and i was set on NOT playing `cos i know my limits. roamed around and lao da drove us back to hotel. he napped while the rest shopped at chinatown wich was just downstairs. got many good bargains there. so proud of myself!!! after that was dinner when lao da woke up. food was fine. me and winnie`s treat. more shopping thereafter. then back to hotel for a bath and then rest. and sorry guys for the trouble i caused. you all know what i meant right?
on the 2nd day, woke up fresh and the previous night`s feeling was cut down a little. after preparation was breakfast at the lobby. and what`s next was Genting. went up and off to the casino. it was my 3rd casino experience but the 1st time playing in there. initially my luck was on and i kept winning. but you people know, once you win a little, you usually get greedy and you want more. that was a lesson learnt. i was greedy and in the end, all my chips were gone! but it was really alright since i was prepared for that. it`s the experience that counts. i consoled myself. LOL! theme park was next. it was cold and chilly. that made the rides more exciting. but this time round i didn`t want to go up on the vertical drop `cos i decided not to scare myself further after the previous 2 experiences. had fun till the sky turned dark. it was dizzy all the way down and i forced myself to nap. finally reached KL and lao da drove us to visit the majestic twin towers. they`re really an attraction! bought supper back to hotel after the trip before we called it an end to the day. lights out after our baths.
time flies, real fast!! last day in KL. checked out at 1pm. missed the breakfast because we were tempted back to sleep till 12pm. was super lazy and tired. we packed up and left. did some last minute shopping in chinatown and goodbye KL. planned to head straight to JB but Meleka was on the way. so we detoured. tasted the nice and famous chicken rice balls. it was hard to locate the stall until we sought help for directions from a nice uncle. he even brought us there! time was running fast and we decided to leave the small state. before heading for the customs, lao da drove us to permas jaya where i finally tried the nasi lemak candice recommended almost 2 years ago! i was rather satisfied with that meal. my treat.
i hope that my friends enjoyed the meal and the trip!! thanks for making the trip possible pals. and most importantly thanks to lao da, our friendly and humorous tour guide! and i hope my friends like the presents i bought them. twee-hee-hee..
